Hello, my name is Josh, I'm new to this site and just wanted to talk about musical ornaments. I wanted to know if anyone knew how to perform a Mordant?

The Virginia Tech Multimedia Music Dictionary (at http://www.music.vt.edu/musicdictionary/) defines a mordent thusly:

"A series of two or more grace notes played before the principal note. This ornament usually consists of the principal note, the note below, and the principal note again."
