Ahh, the wonder that is band culture.
At my school we have two phrases to describe the mind altering experience that is marching band.
#1 is
Marching band is pizza for the soul.
#2 is used frequently to rationalize why people do marching band, band camp, exhausting practices, games, and all:
Marching band is like heroin. You hate it while you do it, but you just can`t quit.
I suppose somethings are universal.

I love to do marching band it is soooooooooo much fun! People make fun of us flute player b/c of "this one time at band camp" thing but it is only band members that do it. we have 150 band members it is sooo much fun. well bye e-mail me.

our band teacher doesnt lets us dance he thinks its no proper for marching band b/c we are to be serious.  i think it is stupid. but he did let us do the wave w/ our insturments this year i was so cool. e-mail me

marching band is the best...i am going into concert band soon & playing @ basketball games & stuff! i am so excited!! but .. i know it`s bnot gonna be near as fun as marching season!! ... oh well.. wish me luck!!

wassup! i do marching band and i love it! i am not a band fag, as someone who posted claimed he was, nor am i a band geek. at my school, there are no such things as band geeks. if u are in the band you are the S***!!! but we march traditional style. if u see the movie Drumline, you will know exactly what i am talking about. i love band because when i am on the field, the bleachers are packed and about 50,000 fans are cheering you on! nothing can give u a rush like that!
