Marching band RULES!!! (I have been on the net looking for some music that my band teacher could probably use like "Shake your Groove thing, Malaguena, theme from "Rocky", and a couple of other things. I dont think anything will be as fun as my Freshman year (this year) though. We played The Time Warp, Let`s Groove, Big Noise from Winnetka, and All night Long. So in conclusion....Band is the best.)

Emily here. Freek nastee you are so right. Nothing can give you a rush like marching banc. I play flute and have been in marhing band for 2 years and concert band for 6 years. It is the best thing I have ever done. I love it. At our school as well there are no things like band geeks and band fags. According to everyone at our school if you can play an instument and march at the same time youve got skill so they dont make fun of us. I love to see all the people in the stands cheering us on when we march on to the feild its great. Well thats all. Yep, and marching band rocks...even if everyone calls ya names for it, its worth it. If you don`t then you`ll never get the inside jokes about all the band bus rides home *wink wink* (If your in marching band, then you`ll definately know exactly what I am talking about) And if you were wondering, I am also a band geek and PROUD OF IT!! i love marching it is my life i want to do it for as long as i can im looking for some music so that we can play for our stand tunes im looking for the music from drumline the movie im from harlingen south and we have been doing good this year next year we are going to be really good because all the good player are going to be there for another 2 years all i have to say is that we will be better that north

I`m in marching band. It really is the best. We`ve been on TV before amd we have been opening for the New York Mets for 20 consectutive years! In fact I just went i think it was 2-3 weeks ago. I was sooo amazing. The players are standing like 2 feet away from you and all the people in the stadium... the bad thing is though for such a small band ( about 150 I think) you really can`t hear us. The sound bounces right off the sides of the stadium but it`s just amazing. The Stadium looks soo small from on the field but when your up in the stands it looks huge. Anway, Marching band it soo much fun everyone should do it.

Oh yeah, and the bus rides are the best

I"m just curious, does anyone else`s band play at anthing but Football games?

I LOVE MARCHING BAND I live in Texas, & omg my freshman year (last year) We did Barbarian Horde! It was sooooooo awesome!!!!!! It was Barbarian Horde.. Galdiator Finale, for some reason i can`t remember the other one!
It was definitely a rush! It was fast and just so much fun to march to.. took a lot of work but it was worth it. I`m such a band geek! That show was so cool that more people started to come to the games after they heard about it!! (I`m sorry I love them but our football team sux bad) Everyone was amazed!

Hey has anyone done anyone any major parades? My marchign band just recently was invited to London, Englad to perform at their New Years Day parade. and We`ve been to macy`. Can anyone help me still Find some music from the Movie Drumline i`m trying to update out stands music from "Iron Man" lol

Um not really a major parade, but a major event. We played at Shea Stadium Opening day It was a lot of fun.
