As some of you may know, I have been trying to get seminars going with mixed results, in co-operation with a company I do some artist work for. Things are moving too slowly for me so I would like to see who among you teachers would be interested in starting flute clubs in your area that would meet twice a month and which students would be interested in participating.
I would get the ball rolling with a concert and masterclass, then the clubs would be hosted by local teachers. I would suggest that students pay a $35.00 sign up fee that would include free CD and concert/master class presented by yours truly. Subsequent meetings would only require a small fee with the local teacher keeping the profits.
Let me know what you all think, message me private if need be.
Thanks
Patrick

I think that's a brilliant idea, Patrick, and if I was staying in the area I currently live in, I totally would set one up. But, I'm going to be moving within two/three months! I'll bring it up to my flute professors, though, when I meet them and get to know them a little more.
Congrats on getting things like this put together!

Hey! I think that this is a rather good idea. It would allow students to learn more than from just attending in a band or ensemble. I would attend one if one would be near. The prices seem fair and everything.
