piccolo to flute

when i play my picc then play my flute i cant get the low notes on the flute untill i start playing it for about 2hours. i practice going from the picc to the flute, but i still dont get the low notes right away.Can anyone help?

guess u jux gotta practice ur change of lippings.. it`s takes a lot of practise to improve on that..

When u play piccolo u usually have a relative small embouchure. However when u change to flute especially for low notes, imagine a big, round and relax embouchure, like a "ooooo", then u will be fine.

I agree with Nozz and I-forget-the-other-person`s-name, and I want to add that one thing I`ve been told is that you have to practice flute 10 times as much as picc, as well as that you have to train your brain that they are two different things (like the difference between trumpet and clarinet).

im gettin much better now, i still cant play the low notes as well on my flute sfter ive played piccolo, but i can get the high note which i was also having trouble with.
