I have selected a sight in Vermont to hold a flute master class seminar in early Aug. 2008, I am talking to several big name flutists and will let you know who they are once the deals are finalised.

The classes will be perfomance master classes, lectures, special presentations about flute making and repair and daily flute ensemble rehearsals. Evenings will consist of informal concerts and socializing.

Flutists of all ages are welcome, pro or amateur or student.

The sight of this seminar, just south of Waterbury, VT is spectacular.

As I am still fine tuning the fee structure, please message me privately so that I can present to you what I have some up with so far. I would definitely offer a discount to any of my friends and colleagues here at the flute forum.

Here are some more things we will present:

- lectures and Q and A with the guest artists regarding the flute in the orchestra, the flutist as composer, the life of a free lance flutist, etc

- mock auditions will be offered, giving the participants the rare chance to audition then get a follow up critique..
