Hi Kate,
We are doing 'Pines of Rome' in band this term, and there are a couple of low-B's (including a solo) in this piece.

I remember that you found a source of inexpensive, well made 'replacement' B-footjoints a while back.
Could you remind me of who had these? I may get one for my Yamaha 881. Yamaha has them, at a very marked-up price.

My other choice would be to borrow a Jupiter 600 series with low B, but then I'd have to play it for the whole concert and I don't really like the headjoint on it.

Hi!.

I could be interested in a C foot for my Yamaha 674. The body is sterling silver. A C foot solid silver is considerably more expensive that a silver plated one, obviously.

Question:

Could there be any problem in installing a silver plated C foot on a silver body? (I am thinking about tenon /socket wear, due to different metal hardness)

Thanks for your answers!
