I`m a 14 year old girl (ninth grader) who loves to play the flute. I have been playing since fifth grade, and have been taking private lessons since eighth grade (I could have started in seventh but my mom kept on forgetting to call the teacher!!). I was chosen in eighth grade (could have been in seventh but band director needed to choose another flute from one of her other schools) for "Honor Band" which was fun. Currently, I am first chair in my school`s concert band (next freshman flute after me is 14th chair) out of 27, and next year I will most likely make my school`s wind ensemble (as long as no "Dark Horse" flutists come and I work hard on the audition piece).

Like...oh my god! I like play the flute too!! i am 14 and i am like first chair in band.
