I just got a new Orpheo student line flute that I bought from Suzie and I must say, I am very impressed and surprised! The student closed hole models are much better than the other open hole silver models that I have tried. The key action is
much better and very smooth. I like them a lot. So much that I think I may be contacting the company and considering being a dealer for them. Now I would say that they could use some tweaking though. The key height is too high, it may benefit from better oil also. No slop anywhere. The biggest thing that could use improvement is the embouchure cut. So I agree with Suzie on that one.

I would basically buy the flutes from Orpheus music at dealers cost and sell them and make a profit. At least that is what they told me I could do. It was just an idea, I don't know if I will ever get around to actually doing it or not.
The headjoints on them are not to my liking, so I would have to wait for improvement on their part before selling. I will however be selling the one I just bought, as I just bought it to try out, just out of curiosity.

No, no nasty odors. That comes from the lining in the case on those.
