Basically, how do you play above C7? After that C, I can play the C sharp and sometimes the D but they sound really bad! I don't know how to describe it, I guess its the altissimo of the flute?? I think properly called the fourth octave? Anyway tips for hitting those notes would be helpful!!!!! Thanks

Yea i never thought I would need to play it, but I like to keep moving forward, learn a scale 3-4 octaves for fun or something. And those are some confusing fingerings....half holing and awkward finger placement and such...

Use your piccolo; it sounds better anyway.

Seriously, most musical literature (with a few exceptions) is simply written for the piccolo when they want something that high. Tone will generally be better and it won't be nearly so forced.
