I recently bought a flute pretty cheap in an antique store. I was wondering how old it was considering I couldn't find anything to go by. It is a Borgani Macerata flute and its serial number is 36145
Honestly I don't care as much about the quality because I am going to become a music teacher and my primary instrument is piano (other major ones are percussion and trombone, yes my trombone is in very good condition). While I will want to become good on flute I won't require an expensive instrument (my clarinet is a student vito). I would like to know the age and value, if possible.
