Music can get very pricey. I have had to do a lot of work to pay for what I DO have. May I suggest you pick up a summer job and pay for it? Like mowing lawns or something? It teaches you responsibility and gives you a sense of pride. Kids need to learn that not everything is a hand out in life. Sorry if that seems harsh, but I have seen a lot of this lately.

There are many flute sheet music available for free in several web sites, including this one. I have uploaded a couple of them. There are also some original compositions, just check carefully.
Commercial music should not be given away for free, it's part of the game as the composers and arrangers, as well as their publishers should get their retribution for the work done.
Apart from free scores that are "public domain", there are scores that can be downloaded legally for very little money (often less that 10 dollars), but it depends on what you are looking for.
I bought my copy of Gluck´s Dance of the Blessed Spirits from muscinotes.com this way (Flute + piano). You get a personalized copy you can print out with a foot licence to your name on every page.
And it makes one feel almost professional, doesn't it?
