These Melodious & Progressive Studies Books are fun and a good workout.
There are actually 4 books If I'm not mistaken.
The 4th book was split later into two books. Part one was a set of Kohler Op 75 Virtuoso studies (Flute world Cat# 44S0800B301A)
and part two was by CAMUS Op.10. (Fl. World. Cat #44S0800B301B) They made one big cheap book into two that now costs $24.
I use these studies in basically two different ways.
1)I try to work the daylights out of one exercise several times until it's improved. This is a workout for the fingers and all of the other things like the tuning, articulation, dynamics, the phrasing and all.
2)I also just simply read through them. At whatever speed. This is to improve my note-reading reading skills.

It's a study from about page 26 in Bk 2 and it's really not very good work.
