Dear Friends

Just a note to announce a short concert tour I will be doing with acclaimed Spanish flutist Claudi Arimany in April , 2009.

Claudi is the flutist who Jean-Pierre Rampal bequeathed his 2 gold Haynes flutes to upon his death. Rampal and Arimany did several concert tours and recordings together.

These concerts are partly in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Rampals original Gold Haynes from 1959.

So far the tour dates and cities are:

New York City, Sunday April 5th
St. Paul, Minnesota, Tue. April 7th
Boston, Mass. Thursday, April 9th
Washington DC, TBA

I've just heard Patrick's work in his great new CD. Besides the beautiful sound Patrick gets from his flute, he is accompanied by excellent musicians. What touched me the most though was the wonderful choice of the repertoire.

I am hoping to attend the Florida flute fair this coming year again and hope to see you there. I notice on the flyer I got in the mail that you will be performing. I don't think that Joe will be there though

Nice your are coming to Spain. I have the intention to go to your concert in Valencia, but it is a little far in time to be sure. If you have more details (program, theater, how or where buy tickets, please post (or PM if you prefer).

I will pass the word here as soon as you provide more details. If you have a leaflet or small poster of the concert/tour, I can hang a copy in at least a couple of music academies in Madrid.

I would like to meet you in Valencia, if you can.
