I have an audition for a band clinic, and we have to play two pieces of music. One has to be fast (allegro or so) and the other has to be slow (adagio or maybe a bit faster). We get to pick our own music and I don't know what to pick. I think for the slower peice of music I want to play "Nimrod from the Enigma Variations" composed by Edward Elgar, but I'm not sure. I don't know what to play for my fast piece though. We have to record ourselves and send it in by the end of December. If you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

you can't go wrong with the first two movements of the F Major Handel Sonata, they are not too long and show all the tone and technique one would want..
