It says you have to play all the scales 2 octaves (I'm assuming she could play some 3 octave if she knows any) but the requirements are 2 octaves.
Then for articulation she will either tongue everything or slur everything (I guess just prepare both ways) in eighth notes with a quarter at the beginning of each octave. They don't specify a speed, so have her prepare them to as fast as she can cleanly play them, but the HAVE to be clean and not sloppy. Playing a scale slow but clean is ALWAYS better than fast and sloppy
They also have to be all memorized, including the chromatic. The chromatic is two octaves from Bb (in the staff) to Bb two octaves higher (the one above the one just above the staff, lol. Bb 3)
The chromatic also must all be slurred in eighth notes. Again, have her play a quickly as she can CLEANLY. Have her learn it (if she doesn't know it well yet) by splitting it up into groups of fours. Have her tongue in groups of four and then increase the speed as well as eventually slurring the entire thing. Make sure (if possible) she can play this all in one breath as that will boost her score
Hope that clarified some stuff
