I find it very strange that there's no mention at all of the Resona line of flutes on the main Burkart website. However, there IS a website at
http://resonaflutes.com/ that is maintained by Burkart and has complete information about the Resona flutes.
It seems that Burkart is keeping the Resona line isolated from its Burkart and Burkart-Phelan lines, even to the extent of completely separating all advertising. Nobody going to the Burkart website would learn anything at all about the existence of Resona flutes.
Furthermore, there are no prices on the resonaflutes.com site, which means that Burkart doesn't even sell the Resona to customers. Only dealers can sell them.
What are the business reasons and rationales here? Even Powell and Haynes aren't afraid to advertise their Sonare and Amadeus lines (respectively) on their main websites. Haynes doesn't sell Amadeus directly to customers, however.
