I just want to let you know about my new cd that has just been released. It is a collection of all Latin American Music for flute & guitar. This cd has works by Jose Luis Merlin, Celso Machado, Ernesto Cordero, and Asor Piazzolla, to name a few..... Please feel free to listen to sound clips at: http://cdbaby.com/cd/noteworthyduo

I liked the excerpts and you are excellent performers. Guitar and flute make a wonderful combination. I have to play as a student an easy etude by Giuliani (the #4) this month, with a guitar professor at the academy.

I also like this genre of popular -or should I say, folkloric- music.

I have just begun to study The History of Tango by Piazzola but right now I feel I could only attack the Cafe 1930. I may buy the CD.

Thank you for sharing.

Hello! Thanks for listening and giving us your thoughts. Good luck with the History of the Tango! You are very smart to begin studying the 2nd movement. Have fun with it! If you have any questions while putting it together, please feel free to ask. Thanks for being so receptive to the music, esp. the folkloric pieces. Take Care!
