I have heard of Churchill band...very good band.
Our concert band right now has two flutes...thats right...two. And the other player is not very good, so it is just me playing half the time. The rest of our band has only four or five members per section, but we have really good sound.

We have like 120 people and i don`t think it matters how many people as long as everyone is dedicated and enjoy doing it

We had 51 instrumentalists, or something like that, this year, but about 12 of them were flutes, which is way too many! We only had 1 tuba. We also only had 2 pittists, so 6 flutes did both flute and pit. Our band director won`t let any of us play piccolo. He is still awesome though.
Katie, where in Lancaster are you from? I am from Lancaster, too. I go to Donegal, which isn`t the greatest, but oh well.

I`m from Eureka High school and we have about 102 as of right
now. We have about 14 flutes in too. We also do pretty good.

I`m from Pickerington and before our schools split two years ago and we had 286 members. next year when we combine to go to the Rose Bowl, we are supposed to have well over 300 members. but as others have said, its quality not quantity.

i could have sworn edgewood had a lot more than 98 members. maybe u guys just looked a lot bigger than jefferson. is edgewood going to the annual adjudiacated event this year??? jefferson is and the music this year is so lame!

We have 170 students in our marching band
Half of us are Intermediate
The other half of us are Advanced players.
I`m in Sutter Middle School marching band.
*We`re going to a competition at Anaheim, and our songs will be "Lord of The Rings" and "Gladiator" and I think theres more...
