I'm not sure of any off of the top of my head either but you should google it, youtube it, search it or something. I would just go to youtube and type in "jazz flute". You'll probably get something I'm sure. I actually just found one guy. I'm not sure if he's any good but his name is "Fernando Gelbard". If he's not any good, I'm sure there are others out there. :D

Check out their music and see which ones you like...

It could also be any other instrument that you transpose to flute as well.

You might try the Sax on the Web forum, there are two recent topics that will help answer your questions, and quite thoroughly:

Laitn Jazz flutists:
http://www.saxontheweb.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=110176

And Straight-Ahead Jazz Flutists:
http://www.saxontheweb.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=108197

And there's a fantastic Jazz flutist that keeps a strong internet presence. I'm going to intentionally mis-spell his name here, because the webpage editor will blank it out: Robert Duck. You will have to replace the U with an I to spell his name properly. If I write Robert Dick, it gets censored, as you can see. But definitely do an internet search on him, I do think he has published compositions.
Try here:

And a You-Tube:

Good luck with your project.

Looks like the censor feature has been modified. It would have read, Robert D**k not long ago, and I wanted to make sure you could actually do an internet search :)
