Oh also... 2 months ago, a new york critic (who was also an ex-principal flutist) saw my videos and then recommanded me to Google and youtube to invite me to play in their press conference to promote YTSO audition:

But I couldn't get in into YTSO, but still I was lucky to be recognized by 2 principal flutists. ^^

I like your sense of humor Chan :-)
Sometimes it's very difficult to be understood through e-mails. Not your case though.

Once again congrats for your dedication. It will result undoubtedly in another excelent flutist in the market.

I hope you can focus all (OK not all, but most of if...:-) your energy to pursue the excellency in flute playing.

BTW, I also began with a Yamaha flute (model 21-S), back in 1978 :-)

Wow, never heard of that Yamaha model before, must be very old model.

Wow, I just read your profile,

"Symphony Orchestra of The National Theatre Brasilia, Principal Flute

I live in Brasilia, the capital city of Brazil. I play the flute since 1978, but began to learn music at the age of 7, when I started learning the piano.
I'm a principal flutist since 1989."

You are so great, you are exactly what I am planning to be ~ a Professional principal flutist in some important orchestras~~~~someday. I love orchestra, so addictive, playing and hearing music within an orchestra is way better than hearing music in a concert hall or from CD/DVD!

"My dream: be like my idol Emmanuel Pahud (principal flutist and soloist of Berlin Phil) - become a top professional orchestra's principal flutist some day. because I love orchestral work! I'll work hard from 2008 on and record my progress every week. Needing your advice and comments to improve."

My family quite supportive, and my grandma is rich, so she can support my dream. I began piano at 4, and began flute at 8, after 11 I am serious about flute and orchestra music...I will spend all my entire life from now on to make my dream come true. Thanks for your words and encouragement. bye.
