i cant get a very good sound on my flute

hey it may be the way your lips are placed on the flute or it could just be your flute. get your band directer to try to play it. ask him/her what`s wrong. if that wasn`t any help you can email me @ TiaraJackson299@hotmail.com. or if you have aim add me to your buddy list my name is MISSFLUTTIE! i wish you luck trying to figure it out
