Stupid question maybe, but what happens if a note has an accidental and also is syncopated so that it continues into the next bar? Is the accidental valid also in the second bar?

I first assumed that notes in bar two would not be affected, but juding from the sound it seems that maybe they are affected.

How nice! Didn't know it was possible to add music. I have not added that natural on purpose. So the question is, do I play that note as D flat or as D (natural)?

<Added>

Howcome I can't see the score?

When accidentals are tied across a bar line, the accidental continues into the next bar for the duration of the entire note, so in your case, the 1st beat of the 2nd measure is also a Db. You will notice that on beat two the D has a natural in front to indicate that it is not a flat because beat one is altered to a Db.

(BTW, I do see your music, but it took several seconds for it to appear.)

Thanks for such a swift reply, Musicman.

So 8notes music notation application is extra helpful and actually writes out the natural. Well, that was expected, but I would almost have prefered Db and Db, from ease of playing perspective. Nevermind.
