I'm considering getting this piccolo, but I'm not sure if it's any good. I'm not sure about the plastic body and the brand; my flute's a Barrington and she's a good instrument, but I've never played a Bundy before.

Bundy have a terrible reputation! Their flutes and clarinets have had very bad references in this forum and many others!
I've heard that Jupiter and Armstrong do good affordable piccolos with a good scale.
Yamahas have mixed opinions, as some people think they have a terrible scale, but I have one and it's fine! It's a YPC-32.
But I wouldn't buy the bundy!

Suzie, active member on this board and reputable flute seller has a YPC-32 Yamaha piccolo for sale. I am sure she could give you a good price on it too. I have it right now and I am shipping it to her. It is nice.

well what are you planning on using it for, i owned a vintage metal bundy piccolo and used it just for playing at home and amusing my younger cousins, and being annoying at football games, trilling on double Cs LOL
anyways,
if its just for fun, you dont have to spend a whole lot, bundy is decent, and better than any of those cheap chinese piccolos, plastic really isnt that bad, (in my opinion).
