I've started having problems getting my high A out clearly. I can get all the other notes above and below it nicely, but there is just something about that A. Any advice?

Check your embechure, check the pads for leaks, check the holes for damage, check the flute's embechure, clean the flute out. And most of all, practice.

Make sure your right pinky is down. Some people are a little sloppy and leave it up on several notes because it doesn't seem to matter...but on high A it does. It may not be that...but just an idea.

I talked to my flute teacher yesterday, and he fixed the problem. One of the screws were loose! Glad it's fixed!
