They are only a toy that not even a 3 year old should touch. I agree, a piece of junk.

Ah.. I see now. I just looked at his profile. He is not referring to the colored metal flutes that show up on eBay. But really... he must not be getting that much business right now if he has to advertise on a flute forum.

I tried their Ceramic Metallic headjoint before, made by Guo's flute factory in Taiwan, their flutes could be the future of flute making, who knows.
Original colour was dark deep blue or light black, now they try colouring their flutes maybe. It's easy, all you have to do is to add colour into it, because they are ceramic materials, added with rare earth and metal powder I think. Then molded into shape and then bake. You can make any EH shape as you like.
Its headjoints that I tried are very light! The flutes are beatiful and futuristic.
But I personally didn't like their headjoints, because they sounded too crispy and thin, just like a dried thin wooden headjoint or bamboo headjoint. But that is just my own feeling. <Added>Hi Mr.Guo, I think colour flutes are ugly, and dark blue or black are horrible. Maybe wooden color or golden color or silvery would look better. :) <Added>If you add more metal powder into the headjoint and also make it thicker, then I think the sound will sound more solid.

If these things were any good, you would not need to paint them. Please do not flatter yourself by thanking us for suggestions. Most of the suggestions that can be made are unprintable. For the benefit of the decent people on this forum, I will limit myself to "take a long walk on a short pier". |

You may indeed need to take a long walk on a short pier.
Exceptionally rude posts like yours on a public forum are really unpleasant reading.
It can't be helpful for this forum to have vitriol like yours to poison others.
Furthermore, don't presume to speak on behalf of others.
Back on topic, I don't know nor have I ever seen these flutes. I'm happy to see flutes of any shape or size on the market. They are better than say, seeing another MP3 player released. The Grenadillo one looks lovely. I wish there were sound samples or places to test drive these.
