Is anyone familiar with the difference between the older Yamaha, say a 561, and its current equivalent, the 674. The 674 touts a "Type 4 body" which I cannot find any information about. Does this make the scale more accurate than the older 561? Or is there really little difference between the two? I know the 674 has a split E mechanism that the 561 does not. But is there really a significant difference? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thanks for your response Jose Luis. Can I ask which notes give you the most difficulty in the 3rd register? And did you have the same problem with those notes when you were playing with the EC headjoint?
I always find the high D and E need a little more work to keep in tune. I am just wondering if this Type 4 body has done anything to improve that and/or the scale.

Sorry, I have my end of school year concert today (playing the JS Bach BWV1013 Sarabande) and I am leaving the country tomorrow. Too busy to check carefully now. From memory I can say F#3 is too sharp and almost impossible to lip down as it breaks into A. D#3 is also sharp but it can be controlled more easily.
Things have improved with the Nagahara HJ but it is a professional HJ and I am not still to its level.
