Hi, I am 45 looking to develop my flute playing skills by joining music woodwind competitions. However, I cannot find one in the UK. I had assumed this would be a fun and rewarding hobby for many people. Can anyone help?

Ps: i am a good amateur flute player living in Essex UK.
