Hi all! I recently decided that i would like to learn the flute and purchased a secondhand one. I have tried to find out what it is but Google has not helped in anyway! It is a Shimro SF-501 silver flute and stamped Made in USA. It comes in a hard case with a tuning fork, closed buttons, Student Flute. Google can tell me nothing about the model number, or anything to do with company making flutes. When i Google Shimro, it comes up with string based Korean-made instruments only - no mention of them ever making flutes and conflicting to the "Made in USA" stamp. Does anyone have any knowledge they may be able to share? :-)
Many thanks!

I do know that with many things today, from musical instruments to firearms, parts and pieces will be manufactured overseas, and assembled in the U.S., with a Made in America tag. Fender is a great example.
