I've had a Zentner piccolo since the late 80's and loved it, it's been my lil beast for years. I recently played a Hammig and fell in love. Can't really afford to spend $5000 on a piccolo right now. So I found a used one for $2200 and it's a 650/2 with a thin wall modified head joint. First off I'm disappointed about not having the high g# facilitator, can anyone say how much difference it makes? 2nd, after years playing this Zentner I'm not sure how much, if @ all, I'm going to like this headjoint. Will the Zentner headjoint fit for the purpose of comparison?
