I am OK, just a few years older but that's good news after all. Have kept studying and playing my flute. So much that it required a full overhaul recently.
Hope you are well too and always fluting.
Yesterday Emmanuel Pahud gave a very nice concert here in Madrid. It was like the Paradise coming down to earth. Or perhaps better than that. I think he is in his best moment. Now, he has been in his best moment for long, so no surprise. But his performance of Devienne's Concert 7 (in Emin) was sublime and his technique truly amazing. We are looking forward to his next visit, but it will take a full year of waiting. He was signing his last CD "Revolution" during the break and I took the opportunity to have my picture with him. Maybe silly, but I loved that.
