Personally I thought it was sort of funny. But at least now because of the second one they can tease trumpet players too (dont ask-just watch the movie) I dont see why everyone is getting so upset, who cares what they think of us "band geeks" i say us band geeks kick some major jock a$$! lol, i mean we`re smarter, more dedicated, and its a lot less painful to play a musical instrument and not get clobbered by a giant football player.

I KNOW! My entire La/Lit class makes fun of me every time I start to tell a story about music camp! It makes me SOOOOOOOOOOOO MAD! I HATE THAT STUPID JOKE! What do they all have against music??

If your sick of it, just make a sarcastic jest relating to a personal feature that they hold dear.
so if someone says to you: This one time at band camp; you say
1) "yes?"
2) oh wow, and maybe once you hit puberty/recommended mental age you`ll actually understand the joke.
3) oh look my sides are splitting with laughter.. ha... ha... ha!
4)(if a jock)I think you need another cup, for that extra d**k growing out your foreheard.
5)at least I`m getting some.

I hate that joke! My band teacher keeps on saying that. I have heard it enough times coming out of his mouth that i feel like i want to tape his mouth shut!(j/k)

Every time I tell some1 that I`m in band they come out with the jokes.
It makes me mad and it makes me feel that I have to hide it from ever1.

I can definately feel what you are going through. Get this, I have red hair, I look exactly like the girl and plus I`m in marching band which means band camp. I`ve heard it PLENTY of times....just shrugg it off..its retarted and very very old. Grin and bear it, don`t let it bug ya. Ciao everyone...flute rock!!

Hey Just beat them to the punch line!!! Finish of the whole scene w/ a straight face. Gets em` every time i garuntee it. they won`t bug you as much and they`ll totally spaz. It`s hilarious to see there face when you do that. get your own laughs out of it! (not that i dont hate that joke, i totally dispize it, but ive been dissed with that so many time i dont really give a crap )
