Ok...me and my friend have this "compitition" in band now...cause, we have to play...the 2nd C above the staff...and, she can do it on beat...my C takes a couple seconds to come out...I am using plenty of air, and I have a pretty good embescure...what else can I try???

practice a lot.how fast is the music its in?it might take a while for it to come out how long have you been playing?

I`m sorry to say, but I am trying "high high F" now.
The tird ovtave C is not that difficolt if you have a "Gizmo key" on you B foot joint...

But you know it`s all about "mind over matter." If you are nice to you instrument and can ask it to be YOUR FRIEND to say what you want, it will...
