hey i was just wondering which was better. a metal piccolo or plastic. some of my friends use mixed ones like plastic vody and silver headjoint, but i was going to buy one and i wated some other opinions on which was better. thanx

i think metal ones last longer....
think about plastic..recorders for example..
unless you keep it really clean, you should have no problems with it.
but i used a plastic picollo before and i think its alrite

don`t get angry. i`m not sure how many ppl are on this site at the same time. anyways, i`d go w/ metal, but that`s just my preference. my flutes fifty three years old, but still in quite fine working condition because it`s so tough.
