Hi again. This year we did the tribute to chicago show and we recieved 1st place at pennsyvania state championships. This year is also the first year that we are having an indoor marching band. It is quite different then what our rregular show is but we are addapting our field show to be the indoor marching show. The only reason that we are doing it is because it is our first year and it is kind of just an experimental thing. The thing that I do not like though is that we had to alter our show so much that there is now a part where the woodwind ssection is standing still because there is nowhere for us to go.

wow i don`t know if i should even be replying to this bc it sounds likes your guys`s marching bands are totally awesome! while mine isn`t all that great. but this year we played a tribute to the Doors and also to ray charles. mr. l-dawg sir doesn`t take us to competitions but we were asked to play half time at the rubber bowl in akron along with 12 other high school bands. our biggest rival did the exact same show as we did the night we played each other. but we have a competition coming up in march, hopefully the freshman can prove to the upperclassmen how much band means to them by then.

Hi, I`m from Latta High School and we`re in 1A. We were the Lower State Champs for 3 straight years until last year. Our show totally killed us. NEVER DO RHAPSODY IN BLUE!!! It was a little over our heads and a killer to march to. We haven`t gotten a show for this year yet but anything would be better than that!!!!

We did Pirates Of The Caribbean last season and we were the best since we got all first places at compititions except for a 3rd place and 18th at Scranton but the 18th was a ripoff because we should have gotten better then that. There was only like a few other bands doing the same as us but we were a lot better and plus we had a huge pirate ship that was on wheels. Which gave us a lot of points.
Oh and our band is a Group 1 which is like I guess up to 30 musicians or something but were getting bigger.This year were doing Cirque du Soliel: La Nouba.

Oh and our band is from Southern Garrett High from Oakland MD.

We did music from the seventies(Frankenstein, Karn Evil 9, American Women, American Band, and some others). I love marching band because how much fun we are able to have with it, but it doesn`t really benefit us once concert band starts! Ay!

Our show for the 2005-2006 year is called "Going through the course of your day" and it sounds really neat its hard though the first song is called waking up late: its a really jazzy and cool sounding song the second song is called at school/work: it starts out with a lot of tim burton percussion wierd sounding stuff and the third song is the ballad its called relaxing at home and its very beautiful alltogether our field show will bea hard colorguards start band camp June 2nd and go to July 29th we start June 2nd too!!!

oh i forgot we are in class AAA 126 including colorguard

Our 05-06 is a Latin Jazz show. Now that we have our music is seems that the 150 who voted for it disapeared and now all hate it, go figure. Anywho, We`re playing "Conquistador" "children of Sanchez" and "Malaguena" we go from actuall dancing every few measures to my one friends and i sprinting well over 15 yards in 36 counts .*Sigh* but yes, we have alternating themes, we were goign to do "gladiator" music but that fell through. Any one doing "Phantom" music?

Our show is the music of styx and earth wind and fire. we`re doing Mr.Roboto, The Best of Times w/ rockin the paradise, Let`s Groove, and After The Love Has Gone. We`re a group 3 band, with i believe 77 memebers

Drill is awesome, as is our body work and foot work.
