I am trying to purchase a flute for my sister (beginner high school band student). I don`t know anything about flutes so it`s difficult for me to gauge a flute`s quality. I was given the following description by a seller. Is it a good buy at $150?

"I have a E.L. DeFord Elkhart Flute. Closed hole design, great for
beginning students since it does not require the additional skill needed for an
open hole flute. The flute is in good physical and working conditon.
Nickel/silver plated head, body, foot and keys. Pads still in great
condition. Every part fits smoothly and snug and all the spring loaded
buttons work fine. The Nickel silver finish has light wear and
scratching from use, though it does need a good polishing. Comes in original
DeFord hardshell case containing a cleaning rod. The padded velvet lined
hardshell case is also in great condition, and is very sturdy with plush felt
lining interior and fitted design for maximum protection."
