yes!!!!! hard work, deadication, perseverance...and we`re going!!! and guess what? i`ll be SENIOR! if u have any advice let me know!

I was in the 2003 Rose Parade as a freshman and my biggest piece of advice is to condition before the parade and to get PLENTY of sleep the night before. It really helps.
Dont pay any attention to the jerks than hold up signs at the end saying only 5 mi. more and stuff. Keep your eye on the goal.

our directors said that in december we`re gonna have lots of rehearsals. we`re gonna have to build lots of endurance. he wants us to at least march 4 miles. this yr and next yr im gonna train anyways....cuz i play tennis. just like the first 2 months of school i havent done much excersize (well, i do walk 1 mile. like yesterday i did, and today i am)

hi! yea well my band is going to the rose bowl too!
ok well yea it will be my first time!

I was in the rose bowl this past year. SOOO much fun. They do hold up those signes, and its not true :-) The one i was never warned about was the road. Its covered in horse crap, and trach, and food. Its everywere!. I stepped in horse crap like 5 times, so that i would stay in line. And we passed two kids who sprayed silly string all over us. I wanted to stop and attack them, cuz we have brand new uniforms. Dont drink a ton of water beforehand, theres a lot of shade along the way and you do not want to have to go to the bathroom. Try talking your BD (if your from out of state, i am from new hampshire for ex.) in to taking you to some of the LA sites. We went to mideval times, disneyland, and universal. We also marched in disneyland`s parade, so if he/she can talk to disneyland, your band might get to too. The disneyland parade was awesome, because you get to go "backstage" at disney world, and you see half created rides, and the monorail repair place, and all kinds of cool stuff.
