Does anyone know if Armstrong makes piccolos that have a wood body with silver keys and a silver headjoint? I know Geimenhardt, Emerson, Yamaha... and probably more brands do but I can`t find an Armstrong one.

Is there an Armstrong website? I`ve looked for one of those too but can`t find one!

Because of all the flutes I`ve tried, Armstrong is my favorite so I`d like an Armstrong piccolo too.

Assuming you mean silver PLATED keys, then yes.

Well no, I meant 100% silver... but do you know what the model number is for the piccolo you were describing?

go to www.fluteworld.com
they sell every single thing you could possibly buy for a flute. you can get a tie with a flute on it. I`m serious.
they have a listing of all of the piccolos and flutes that they sell, and give a good description of every model of piccolo made by each individual brand. Good luck!

Go to Ebay. I remember seeing a wooden Armstrong piccolo there once, maybe a week and a half ago. Check and see if bidding is still open.

I have a wood Armstrong, model 358, but it features a wood headjoint in addition to the wood body. The 358-2H comes with both a wood head and a sterling head. I thought they used to market a wood body/silver head combination, but apparently they discontinued that.

I play piccolo in the marching band and i am the section leader so when all my pics have instrument problems they come to me. A freshman in my section has an Armstrong and she hates it. If you want a good piccolo, try a Gemienhardt. I like the resin/plastic body.

thanks, but I`m not asking for brands. I`m also section leader and I hate Gemeinhardt and love Armstrong.

To not like a certain brand is fine, but to focus on only one brand seems a tad myopic!
