Ok so I went to the flute fair today. I tried out a lot of flutes. One of them really played well for me. It was a Sonare 7000. What things have you heard about this flute? Do you think it is a good step-up model from an intermediate flute (Jupiter 611)?

Hi, i personally own a sonare 7000. its been a great companion. I have played on Gemienhardt`s and i would have to say that the sonare has more of a crisp tone. It is deffinatly a good choice as a step-up flute. If you can however, it is more wise to look into professional level flutes to get the best "bang for your buck" Yamaha in this case is a nice route to go. ~Nate
