I am thinking about purchasing a new flute. I had a Buffet silver plated student flute my freshmen year of highschool and then upgraded to an open hole gemeihardt my sophomoreyear. I`d never heard of Buffet flutes before I purchased that one. I loved the was the buffet played, both it`s tone and response. Can anyone tell me anything about open hole intermediate to professional level Buffet flurtes such as the 7000 or 8000 buffet series flutes? I`m also considering a Yamaha. And info would be welcome.
