I need a piece to play for this competion ......... i can`t decide between Giga by Handel , Adagio Nobile (cant remeber who composed it) or Minuet from Orfeus (sp) if you have anything better let me know and ill look @ it...... im pretty good so dont worry about difficulyty but i need help deciding about those three last year for the comp. i did Bercuese by Faure and ranked a 1... the compitition is in march but i need to start preparing for it soon ..... anyways please help

I can`t really help you decide which piece you like the most, that`s probably why you`re not getting many responses.. but really, all you have to do is go to the local library, find some recordings of the pieces you have in question, and just listen to them. Which ever piece you like the best is the one you should play. music is the protrayal of emotion through performance, and you can`t do that very well if you don`t like the piece. (so that means you have to learn to like the pieces you dont like but are forced to learn)

I like Giga personally, but I must agree with the pink flutist. Listen to them first, because if you like how it sounds, that`ll show when you perform. ^^

i have no clue how good you are, but i suggest Giga. I also like Siciliana and Giga, it`s very good.
