My instruments all have names . One day my flute section at school decided we should all name our flutes, so one of my friends assigned our flutes all names that have "bert" in them (don`t ask why). So my best flute is Gilbert, my picc is Gilbert Jr., and my marching flute is Norbert.

Some other people`s flutes are Bert, Herbert, Bertha, etc.

Hm, I play a yamaha student flute but it`s rented so I won`t name it because I`ll be sad when I return it and our family owns a clarinet but it`s not my favourite so I won`t name it. hey maybe I will name my flute.... lemme think... Franchesko! yay that`s good, the name is actually what my stupid friend calls me cause she thinks I look like Franchesko not Riki. ... yup it`s wierd. I`ll name my clarinet... Clairol. good enuff. and when I get a bassoon to rent next year, I will name it Belinda. Yes, very intersting. Now I`m gonna go to school saying my flute is named Franchesko! yay

Well, I never named any of my flutes, but I definetly had a connection with them. When I upgraded to my D.C Pro, I felt really sad that I now had to put my Armstrong into retirement. But I am really considering naming my old Artley...maybe Bubbles.
