Hey everyone I own a yamaha yfl 674H and noticed every now and then my bflat key (my left thumb) I hear a click when i press or release on it as if something is geting loose and it clicks into a higher position. Actually i really hear it when i press down and feel as if holding it there the key gives way kindof. I have no idea if i`m describing this right but my 1 year warranty runs out soon so I want to make sure is this normal, something to not worry about, something will be a problem in time, or serious? Thanks! Oh and i hear no problem with the sound when it does this it just clicks? And I mean i have it depressed for 5-10 seconds then i hear it click and i don`t think i`m pressing harder when i do that. thanks!

Sounds like a mechanical problem with the keys joints or with the spring.

if you can`t fix the mech. problem on your own, take it to a shop. it`s an easy fix.

The B key has a flat spring attached to it. Does the Bb lever have one too? Like are there two flat springs side by side?

when i had a yamaha, the Bflat did that too...you might want to get it checked out now, because after awhile the Bflat started going REALLY flat when i played...so you might want to get it looked at it while its still under warranty. just a suggestion...best of luck to you!
