some of the people at my school had trouble with that note also.. we found it easier using and alternate fingering umm on the left hand second, third and pinky(like normal) and on the right 2nd 3rd and pinky (so basically your adding the 2nd and 3rd to the right hand from the normal fingering) hopefully that made sense... hope this suggestion helps ya!

The highest note I`ve ever!! reached on a piccolo is Eb7. It was the HARDEST thing I`ve ever done.... and it left my ears ringing for the next half hour, lol. Don`t try and hit that note unless you REALLY wanna hurt urself, lol. happy piccoling ya`ll! -- did you know there isn`t a note yet for 8va E natural! or thats what i heard.

i am a piccoloist and flautist at chethams music school in manchester and the piccolo can reach a d (1 note above the top on the piano, the flute can reach the top c on the piano but it is veruy very difficult, i can get an F (4 notes belowe the top C on piano)

AND EVERYONE WHO THINKS A D IS THE HIDGHEST ON THE FLUTE IS TALKING A LOAD OF BOLOCKS, YOU CAN HGET A C (THE HIGHEST NOTE ON PIANO) BUT IT IS VERUY VERY HARD, I CAN GET AN F (3 NOTES BELOW THE TOP ON THE PIANO)
