My newish buffet wooden clarinet won`t come apart (its now night time here) I left it out for about 3 days and now it won`t come apart should I try taking it apart when its warmer. But my room doesn`t get that cold or hot (where its been for the past 3 days. And also all the other parts came off easily but its stuck where the barrel and the top part of the body won`t come off

That same thing appened to friend of mine right after a concert...with her buffet...the barrel also wouldn`t come off..i suggest that heat won`t help because heat makes things expand(but if you ever need heat...just blow into the clarinet) try wiggling it off...but don`t her the keys when trying..if you can`t seem to do anything...take it to a music shoop..i`m sure they will get it off for free.

I am sure that problem is fixed now, but I wanted to let you know that this happens with me all the time with buffet clarinets. I leave my clarinet out frequently because I play constantly. Well, I think the wood is actually too thick where the barrel meets the top joint. Then you "force" it onto the wood that`s too big. And viola! It`s stuck.
