I recently aquired a Pan American Clarinet from Ebay. first of all let me say that it is not a metal clarinet.. the body is possibly ebonite. It is in great shape and needs minor repairs. I am wondering as to the approximate age of the instrument. By the appearance of the case it looks to be from the 50`s but I am not sure the serieal numbers read 72573. I was able to play the upper register and it sounds beautiful so far. Any information would be helpful. Thanks
