Hey fellow musicians
I was just curious what is the hardest piece you ever had to play or own (because you didnt want to play it)??????
Mine is the Clarinet Concerto by Mozart!!!!
Its pretty hard but fun in a way hehehe!! lol

I think the Copland Concerto is difficult if you have to perform it in completion.
But Mozart`s concerto can be hard to play melodically.

i agree with Clara that Copland is wicked long and pretty crazy to play melodically correct. Also, the jumps from middle A to high E are pretty hard.

In response to the jumps from throat A to high E in the Copland Concerto...try covering your LH Pointer`s hole halfway when you jump. It actually let`s you play it softer than the quirky and loud regular fingering without the half-hole. it also works with that on the C#, D and D#/Eb. In regards to the hardest piece I have played. Mine is a tie...Nielsen Concerto for Clarinet and Muczynski Time Pieces. The Muczynski has accidentals all over the place while you`re doing 16th notes at 112 bpm or faster!
