I play the clarinet, and have just been moved up into a band at school. However, the band conductor has asked me to play alto clarinet. My problem is that I have never even picked up an alto clarinet, let alone played one! Does anyone have any adviceor tips?

Alto clarinet is very similar to the clarinet you`ve already played. The fingerings for the notes are the same. The only difference is the alto is in Eb, while the regular (soprano) is in Bb. If you need any more help, just ask.
