Hey,

I have been playing the clarinet for almost 4 years now and my mum has finally decided to buy me a new clarinet. I am on size 2.5 reeds and i am pretty serious about playing my clarinet. I have had many people tell me that a good brand to get would be a buffet b10/b12 or a le blonc. I was wondering what the best type of clarinet to get would be. I play in a classical band. My budget is about $2000 dollars.

Also I have been told that one of the best mouthpieces is a vandoren b45. is this so?

Thanx Clarigurl

best clarinet: Buffet R13

best mouthpeice: 5RV liar (ive heard that m30 are good also)

if you are really serious bout playing you NEED to start moving to a higher reed size. it will improve your sound and improve your air.
