ok guys, i just recently pick up my clarient again , and i have been playing it for 5 years before , and haven`t touch it for the last 2 years ,and i realize the WHITE THING on each hole are all tear down . DO you guys know what`s is that WHITE THING pieces call ? and can i replace it by my self ..??? i have to at lesat replace 15 or them , thx ~

ok im not TOTALLY sure what you are refering to.. but i think you are refering to the pads on the keys.. if they are falling out you have to take it in to be repaired. i would suggest a complete overhaul if you havent picked it up within five years. when you take it in ask for yellow leather instead of normal pads. they last longer only certain company`s do them although. as long as you trust the one with your instrument...

you played for 5 years and you didn`t know what a pad was, or that they need replaced when they are torn or falling off?

i dont mean to be rude, but that seems a little odd.

after 2 years in the closet it needs to be checked anyway.
